Our client, an established healthcare organization is seeking a VP of Human Resources to lead and manage the local Human Resources department.   

Reporting to the Group HR Director, the potential incumbent will be working in partnership with the senior management team to understand the key business drivers and needs of current and future challenges in order to participate in strategic planning for the business.

Your Responsibilities will include:

  • To work with HOD in reviewing employee performance to identify talent for the purpose of succession planning.
  • To execute change strategies as per corporate guidance and guidelines.
  • Provide timely and expert advice on HR policy and procedure and good practices with the aim to enhance employee communication.
  • Drive systematic review, control and management of HR policies for business continuity and in compliance with quality and statutory requirements.
  • To develop talent management strategies, succession and resource plans.
  • To drive recruitment strategies and to build future pipelines.
  • Facilitate performance management calibration meetings, initiate and implement performance improvement programs.
  • Build effective and efficient HR systems and work processes by driving lean culture and work methodology in HR.

Core Competencies Required:

  • A recognized degree, preferably in HR Management.
  • At least 18 years of relevant working experience with a proven track record and has successfully driven and implement HR programs in the Healthcare sector.
  • Good knowledge of best practices
  • Able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Highly motivated and self driven
  • Analytical, objective and able to make good judgments
  • Good administrative and organizational skills
  • Proven track record in managing large teams.
