Introduction
To be successful in every project, you must go beyond the technical tools and techniques of project control; understanding the insights of the “technical” aspects of managing projects is essential to bring your project to its successful completion, especially getting the team members behind the project and to see it through successfully.
Learning Objectives
On completing this learning, participants will

• The People Aspects Of Project Management
The human aspects of project management cover the effects of people on projects, and who or what manages projects. The session also explores ways for the Project Manager to successfully manage the key factor in project management through an examination of communication channels and productivity factors.

The Process Of Project Management
This session deals with activities leading to the establishment of a project. It explores the target setting process as well as the quantitative and non-quantitative techniques of estimation. Discussions will include financial considerations such as assessing the viability of projects and cost control.
The project team organization approach will be incorporated, covering assigning people to tasks, matching their expertise with the task, as well as the size of the project team. Control checks like deviations, changes to the project and preventive measures are needed to ensure success of projects. There must be a review of project management performance to identify factors that cause problems or that lead to success.
