How has your organisation been supportive of national service? Why is corporate support important?

IT IS important to be a good corporate citizen in any country that an organisation operates in and this includes supporting employees with NS commitments such as In-Camp Training (ICT).

At PrimeStaff, we encourage our employees to fulfil their ICT commitments when called up and discourage them from deferring it.

During our company townhalls, we also recognise and celebrate NS men who get promoted.

Further to this, we are also looking into adopting human resource policies in support of NS, such as taking into account employees’ ICT performance during annual appraisals, and perhaps granting a day off at the end of their reservist training for them to recuperate.
